We organized an Animal Husbandry Training Programme to strengthen the livelihoods of rural women and small-scale farmers. The training focused on scientific livestock management, including cattle, goats, and poultry, covering feeding practices, breeding, housing, disease prevention, vaccination, hygiene, and overall animal care. Experts guided participants on improving livestock productivity, reducing animal health risks, and adopting sustainable farming practices. The programme also provided information on government schemes, financial assistance, and market opportunities available for livestock farmers. Through this initiative, participants gained practical knowledge to improve household income, enhance food security, and build sustainable livelihoods, contributing to the economic empowerment of rural families
We conducted a Basic Tailoring Training Programme for rural women and adolescent girls to develop practical tailoring skills and promote sustainable livelihoods. The training covered fabric cutting, measurements, stitching techniques, sewing machine operation, garment finishing, and the preparation of blouses, school uniforms, dresses, and other garments. Participants also received guidance on entrepreneurship, small business management, product pricing, and marketing to help them establish self-employment opportunities. The programme enhanced participants' technical skills, increased their confidence, and enabled many women to generate income through home-based tailoring businesses or employment in the garment sector, contributing to their economic independence and family well-being.
We organized an Aari Embroidery Skill Development Training to empower rural women with employable skills and sustainable livelihood opportunities. The training provided hands-on instruction in Aari embroidery techniques, including floral designs, traditional patterns, beadwork, and decorative stitching used on sarees, blouses, dresses, and other garments. Participants learned both technical and entrepreneurial skills, including product finishing, quality standards, pricing, marketing, and customer engagement. The programme encouraged women to start home-based businesses, earn a regular income, and achieve financial independence. By preserving traditional craftsmanship while creating livelihood opportunities, the training strengthened women's confidence, enhanced their economic security, and contributed to the overall empowerment of their families and communities.
